Gray Iron Casting
Industrial solutions with high-strength gray iron cast part production. Excellent castability and corrosion resistance.
What is Gray Iron Casting?
Gray iron casting is a type of casting produced by casting iron alloys with high carbon content between 2-4%, also known as gray cast iron.
This method, used since ancient times, started in China around 300 BC and became one of the cornerstones of modern industry with the Industrial Revolution. With its excellent castability, easy machinability and high corrosion resistance properties, gray iron casting is widely used in automotive, machinery manufacturing, construction equipment and agricultural machinery sectors.
