Ductile Iron Casting
Spheroidal graphite cast iron production with high toughness and ductility. Strength values close to steel.
What is Ductile Iron Casting?
Ductile iron casting (nodular casting) is a special type of cast iron in which carbon is distributed in the form of graphite nodules. This revolutionary invention developed in 1943 eliminated the disadvantages of gray iron casting.
The spheroidal graphite structure obtained by adding magnesium or cerium gives the material strength close to steel, high toughness and superior ductility properties. Ductile iron casting is preferred in many sectors as a more durable, flexible and machinable alternative.
Why Ductile Iron Casting?
